Ferrari Launches FF Supercar in India

The world's most popular car maker Ferrari has launched the FF super car in India for Rs. 3.42 crores. The launch was held at the newly opened showroom in Delhi. The FF is the Italian carmaker's first car to get four comfortable and spacious seats along with a rear hatch.

The FF is designed to cater to the needs of Ferrari's customers especially those that are accompanied with a family. Being the perfect family car, the FF has two extra seats and rear hatch door for increased luggage. The interior has been tastefully fitted with top quality leather and carbon fiber. The FF will be a perfect long distance tourer with pace, space and power.

The Ferrari FF has replaced the 612 Scaglietti, another V12 powered grand tourer. Powered by a massive 6.2-litre V12, the engine can easily churn out 660bhp and 682 Nm of torque. The FF is also the Italian carmaker's first four wheel drive car. This enables it to handle several challenging road surfaces with ease. Ferrari showcased this ability by driving the FF on the tough slopes of the European Alps.

Ferrari has developed the four wheel drive system specifically for the FF and it can be said to be a grand success. The car has been inspired from the 458 Italia while designing the FF's frontal design. It is lighter than conventional four wheel drive systems by 50 per cent and this allows a higher top speed. The FF is touted to have reached a mind boggling top speed of 335kmph and can accelerate to 100kmph within just 3.7 seconds.

The all new FF behaves like a genuine Italian sports car. However, it can carry four passengers in reasonable comfort. Though the car is two doors, the seating arrangements are comfortable making it the perfect family car.
