Royal Enfield Launches Classic Chrome, Desert Storm

Royal Enfield has recently launched its two new bikes namely Classic Chrome and Desert Storm. Both these bikes are an upgraded version of Royal Enfield Classic bike. This announcement was done in Mumbai by the company’s CEO Venki Padmanabhan.


The bikes Classic chrome and Desert Storm have laminated sealed air box and aerodynamic fuel system. Royal Enfield has also introduced spark plugs in both their bikes with different heating range .Also as the name suggests ‘storm’ Royal Enfield has designed a 19 inch frontline tyre for high speed.



Royal Enfield Classic chrome comprises of features like mud guard and oval tool box. It has 500cc twin-spark engines and gives a power output of 27.2 bhp. Customers have options to choose from black and maroon colour. Royal Enfield storm is also equipped with 500 cc twin spark engine and is available in earthly sandy colour.

Royal Enfield has done these changes with the intention of adding something out of the ordinary to their product line. The cost of both Royal Enfield classic and Storm is 1.65 lakh and 1.58 lakh respectively. After the survey and feedbacks, Royal Enfield has revamped their Classic bike with new features to enthrall their customers.

However, Royal Enfield exports its motorcycles to more than 40 countries including US, Japan and Britain only 5% is reserved for its export business. Along with the expansion of its product range, the rising demand of Royal Enfield motorcycles has urged the company to set its production unit in Chennai that will get operational by 2013.
