There are a slew of new cars lined up for release in India. The festive season has kick started and what better way to add an element of ostentation than by choosing the most ideal vehicles that are made special with unique discounts.
The Ganesha festival is long gone but the Diwali festival round the corner and automakers will gear up for innovative launches, promos and a host of festival discounts. The coming season is akin to a silver lining for car dealers as they spruce up the models and sales promos in a bid to boost sales.
At the onset of the festival, new models of Hyundai Santro, Toyota Fortuner and Maruti Estilo have been launched. The most popular hatchback, Maruti Swift will be available in the new K-series engine and is likely to be launched in a fortnight's time.
General motors is contemplating the launch of Chevrolet Cruz; a medium range sedan. There is another much awaited model known as the Beat which will be launched after the festive season. India's very own Tata Motors is set to launch Indigo Vista sedan embedded with the Fiat Linea engine.
In the luxury car segment, buyers have the option to choose from the all new W212 Mercedes Benz E-class, the smart BMW Z4 convertible and the very elegant, Volkswagen Beetle. Besides the above mentioned vehicles, there are premium compact cars and sports utility vehicles like Skoda Yeti, new Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Fabia Combi slated for launch this festive season.
