The all new Swift Dzire from Maruti's stable was launched on similar lines to the hugely successful Maruti Swift but a sedan version like the mid size Maruti Esteem. Maruti Swift Dzire was launched in March 2008. This is often defined as the 3-box version of the Maruti Swift.
The Maruti Swift Dzire is equipped with advanced features which make it an enticing buy. Unlike the Maruti Swift which is made in several countries, Maruti Suzuki plans to build the Maruti Swift Dzire exclusively in India. However the Maruti Swift Dzire may be exported to several countries.
Maruti Suzuki has given the Swift Dzire a new grille, fog lamp insert and the tail lights embedded with horizontal turn indicators. Maruti Suzuki has worked on the interiors without making any change in its wheelbase. Maruti India has also increased the shoulder room and head room at the rear. The roominess in the interiors will set the car apart from its hatch back counterpart. Maruti Swift Dzire's new notchback style boot enables it to offer 400 litres of boot space.
In addition to this, the top end variant of Maruti Swift Dzire will also come with class leading luxury features like Auto Temperature Control, new integrated DIN Stereo and an all new 6 spoke alloy wheels. Akin to the recently launched refreshed Maruti Swift, audio controls are mounted on the steering wheel. Height adjustable steering wheel is also on the offer.
What's more, Maruti Swift Dzire is equipped with ABS and twin airbags. The Maruti Swift Dzire will offer both petrol and diesel options, in 1.3 liter engines. The automatic climate control systems and other enhanced features make this a truly desirable buy.

Swift was such a happening car. Maruti just ruined the looks of Swift by giving it a boot and making it Sedan. Swift Dzire is definitely not good looking. It is disastorous in looks.
In comparison I can say the Mahindra Renault Logan is much better. As far as looks are concerned, I recently saw the Purple Logan Edge Connect and I was simply bowled over by the looks.
