Customer service and brand loyalty are key components of the success of Mercedes-Benz and the firm’s main customer service centre is celebrating its tenth anniversary.
The Customer Services Centre in Maastricht, Holland, has been serving Mercedes-Benz buyers for the last decade and covers customers in 13 European countries, including the UK and Ireland.
"The international makeup of the workforce, and the great expertise on hand, mean that we offer existing and potential customers a range of services that’s unique in the automotive industry," said Dr Frank Reintijes, head of global services and parts.
He said staff knew everything about the vehicles and any loyalty programmes to ensure that customers got the best service when they called in.
About 7,000 calls are handled every day with customers being served in many different languages.
Customers can call the centre in the event of an emergency and the staff will be able to assist them and it is services like this that Dr Reintijes believes will continue to improve customer satisfaction within the firm.
